“The cottage was a haven to return to.”
Over all we were very happy with the cottage. My husband found the settee uncomfortable so the seat cushions could be renewed at no great cost. Christine and Bruce were very helpful and Bruce mended a couple of things right away in his workshop. The gardens were beautiful and the cottage was very cool to come back to in the heat of the day for which we were grateful. The village was lovely and a good location for driving to villages and towns in West Norfolk and an easy drive to the coast. Can I also suggest that the lean-to at the back leading into the garden, be fully finished as to being cleaned up and that the metal table and chairs outside the lay-to have a fresh coat of white paint. These things in no way detracted from our visit but if it was my cottage which I rented out I'd make sure those things were done.
