    “Great stay”

Fab stay at the broadoak with my mum,I took her away for a break as my dad has recently passed away. When we arrived the grounds are lovely very w elk kept, our room wasn't quite ready as we had arrived at 1.30pm before the 3pm checkin. We then were asked if we fancied the afternoon tea which we jumped at the chance... beautiful afternoon tea if not abit too much for two we could have actually shared on between us as I felt we wasted abit as we were stuffed. We chose to dine at night in the hotel for 7.30 we were showed into the bar given a menu & then we had a drink but we sat there for 30mins+ before we were Shown to our table they take your order prior. I think the menu is abit confusing as you think you have to have the deal for £45 whereas in fact you don't,we only had a starter and a main we were too full so cost us £35 each instead of £45 which to be fair I wouldn't have paid £10 for a dessert! All drinks are extra we opted for the moonshine/stone rose £21 a bottle you get 3 glasses each so good value. We stayed in the beech room which was small and cosy but with a lovely view of the lake in the distance and front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious a lot to choose from I wanted it all. All in all we had an amazing stay just what we needed. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be back with my partner in the future. Thankyou Broadoaks for a lovely stay.
