Road Directions

Road: From A64 approx 2 miles

Continue on A64 until the roundabout after Staxton village traffic lights. Take the first exit, still on the A64 but signposted Scarborough. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto B1261, Seamer. Continue through Seamer village, approx. 1 mile, until approaching the next roundabout. North End Farm can be seen on the left immediately before the roundabout. Turn left into the driveway before the roundabout.

Road: From A170 approx 2 miles

Continue on A170 through village of East Ayton. At the mini roundabout take the second exit onto B1261, Seamer. At the next roundabout take the second exit ( straight over) onto Main Street, Seamer. Take the first right turn onto the driveway immediately atfer the roundabout. North End Farm can bee seen on the right as you approach the roundabout.

Train: from Seamer Station

From Seamer train station turn left onto B1261 (Station Road) to the roundabout, continue straight over onto Scarborough Road. At the next mini roundabout continue straight over. Take the first left exit off the next roundabout into Main Street and turn right immedistley into the driveway of Guest House. North End Farm can be seen ahead, on approach to roundabout.

Public Transport Directions

Local buses operate to and from Seamer village every hour. Coastliner bus no 843 conntects Seamer with Scarborough, Malton, York and Leeds. East Coast Bus no 128 connects Seamer with Scarborough, Thornton Dale, Pickering and Helmsley.

Access Statement for Stable View Caravan Introduction Situated in the village of Seamer, just 4 miles southwest of Scarborough, in beautiful North Yorkshire countryside,Stable View Caravan is an ideal base for any family holiday with good road links to York, Whitby and North York Moors.The static caravan, is adjacent to our 18th century Guest House, North End Farm,and can be found on the northern approach to Seamer main street. Stable View Caravan has 1 Double bedroom,but can accommodate children with the addition of a camp bed or cot on request. We look forward to welcoming you. If you have any queries or require any assistance please phone 01723 862965 or email Pre-Arrival • For full details and maps of the ares please use our contact details. • Satnav co-ordinates for easy location are TA 1328 84343 • The nearest railway station is Seamer Station which is 1 mile away.There is no taxis service from this small station although taxis can be arranged to come from Scarborough to collect you. • If you require collection from the railway station, we will be happy to arrange this for you if you give your requirements on booking. • The nearest bus stop is 100yds from the cottage and there are 2 buses per hour. Bus no 843 can take you to Scarborough,York, Leeds and bus no 128 to Pickering Helmsley and Sutton Bank.Just ask for the first stop in Seamer when paying for your fare. • All pavements around Seamer village are of Tarmac surfacing ,although can be uneven in places. • Information on local Shopmobility equipment hire/repair services are available. • Our leaflet and hire prices for Piglet cottage, as well as our access statement are available in large print on request. Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking • The key can be collected from the main door of the Guest House. • We are usually on hand to welcome you to Stable View Caravan and to guide you around our property. • Parking is available in the Guest House car park. • Our car park and pathway to the caravan are graveled. Entrance to Property • The front door is 560mm/22ins wide. • There are 2 steps up to the main door of Stable View Caravan and 2 broader steps up to secondary double doors, both with hand rails. • Outdoor lighting is provided to illuminated the pathway. • The floor surface inside the hallway is linoleum. Halls, Stairs, Landings, Passageways • The hall/ passageway is well lit by ceiling lights. • The passageway is 1380mm/54ins wide • The floor covering is cushion flooring. Sitting Room/Lounge • All our rooms are situated at ground level and our open plan Lounge/Dining area is straight ahead through the kitchen with level entry from the hallway. • The door opening is 450mm/17.75ins wide. • The compact room contains dining table with 2 chairs, 3 sofas around the front walls, fireplace with electric stove heater. • There is a freestanding movable tv with integrated radio,remote control, subtitles. • The room is evenly lit with 2 lights,with good contrast between flooring and walls. • The floor is fully carpeted. Dining Room • The dining area is located as above details. • The dining table is glass topped with 2 comfortable chairs without arms.The underspace is 740mm/29ins high. • Lighting and flooring as per lounge details. Kitchen • The kitchen area is located straight ahead of entrance. • There is no cooker or hob in Stable View Caravan. • Worktop and sink are at a height of 890mm/35ins.the sink has a mixer tap. • A microwave is provided above the worktop at a height of 8900mm/35ins. • Fridge provided with its highest shelf at 800mm/31.5ins and lowest at 300mm/11.75ins. • Wall units are at a height of 1270mm/50ins • Crockery, glassware etc can be moved to a lower cupboard on request when booking. • Flooring is cushion floor with good contrast between floor and walls. Bedrooms and Sleeping Areas • The bedroom has a double bed. Mattress is 520mm/20.5ins from floor to top of the mattress. • The bedroom door is 510mm/20ins wide. • Lit by ceiling light and reading lamps on wall above the bed. • Good colour contrast between floor and walls. Bathrooms, Shower-rooms and Toilets • The shower-room is located to the left of the main entrance with door opening of 370mm/14.5ins. • Pedestal wash basin at a height of 820mm/32.25ins .WC 430mm/17ins from floor to seat. • The shower cubicle has 1 step into shower tray at a height of 190mm/7.5ins. • Lighting is by ceiling lights and floor surfaces are covered with cushion flooring. Garden • We have a graveled patio area which can be accessed from both doors of the caravan.Patio table and chairs and parasol can be provided. • The patio area is 13m/42.5ft long and 2.25m/6.5ft wide with a raised flower bed and freestanding tubs. Additional Information • Service dogs are welcome and can be exercised around our stable paddock area, under supervision. • The nearest General Hospital with A&E 5 miles away, walk-in NHS surgery 4 miles and local Doctor 3 miles, all details in the welcome pack. • Internet access is not available at piglet cottage and mobile reception can be poor. • All areas in the cottage have good colour contrast between the floors, doors and walls as all doors and skirting boards are dark stained wood and walls are light in colour.
