Portinscale lies off the A66 just to the west of Keswick. From jct 40 on M6, take the A66 past Keswick, watch for the sign to turn left for Portinscale, Grange and Newlands Valley. On turning left follow road, past Farmers Arms on your left, and then after 200yds and where road goes right you turn left. We are then some 60yds on the left, immediately before the Derwentwater Hotel opposite.

    “Good value”

    We have stayed a number of times and its always comfortable and the location is great. Its clean but just tired in its appearance, very dated. Tv never works but you don't really need it with everything so close by.
