Rated as 4 out of 5

“Excellent food and service. Rooms ok but basic.”

Advertises itself as a restaurant with rooms with good reason. Dinner was very high quality, six tasting courses with wine for £100. Not cheap but worth it. Dining room service was attentive but unfussy. Hotel staff were all excellent, very pleasant and helpful.
Rooms were small but reasonably comfortable nothing special. Only negative was being woken early by the radiator noise presumably when the heating came on.
