    “Overall, good. ”

Overall the stay was very good and we enjoyed our little get away. We stayed at the lodge last year and I have to say it was brilliant last year and we had no issues or complaints. This year though I felt the cleanliness of the room let the lodge down a little bit. There was no major issues just little things which did bug me a little bit. One being the toilet roll holder in the room, the whole thing was practically rusted and it let the room down in my opinion, saying that though it was removed from our room on the 3rd day, although it would've been better if it was removed and replaced with a new one as soon as it started to go rusty. Another issue was with one of the pillows, I noticed when we first got there that the actual pillow we were suppose to sleep on was stained with a horrible brown colour on the corner ( the pillowcase was clean, but the pillow wasn't!) so it's safe to say that, that pillow was not slept on! Saying all this though, the views around the lodge were spectacular! And the staff at the lodge were lovely! As well as this, the staff and food at the restaurant 2 minutes up the road were perfect and I could not fault that at all!
