“Very tired unloved house - shame!”

The location was perfect and the house was beautiful, but it was severely let down by the standard of furniture and equipment. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was a metal frame with the side rails fitted upside down and wooden boards cut to size instead of sprung slats. These fell off on several occasions making for very uncomfortable nights. On the first day we complained to 2 separate numbers about lack of basic equipment e.g. Potato masher, wi-fi etc. but never heard back. The vacuum didn't work properly, the broom was taped together, there were 2 DVD players but no remote controls and if you wanted to use SKY and DVD you had to go round the back of the TV to change the single SCART connector. There is a 3 legged bureau in the lounge, so be careful if you want to write cards!
