“Comfortable, clean & warm”

Excellent standard, what's not to like about an uninterrupted view of Coniston Old Man from your window?
En suite facilities a little cramped so if you're a larger built person you may have trouble with this.
We stayed here over 20 years ago, soon after this, new owners took it over & are still here!
The breakfast was superb & make sure you have the home made sausage.
Stay a couple of days at least as it's worth the chance to explore the area whilst leaving the car for the duration here.
There are all sorts of walking, hiking & other outdoor pursuits available & 100 yards from the centre of the village makes it a must for staying here, whatever the time of year.
