Cottage was clean and very well stocked with equipment. Unfortunately the location was very noisy, although well situated to walk into Bakewell. We didn't expect it to be so small as the pictures online did make it look more spacious. We took an elderly parent with us, who found the steepness of the stairs a strain, the parking permit situation was awful as finding a space after a day out was difficult and was quite some distance from the cottage. I wouldn't recommend the property for anyone who has mobility issues. I think a family would struggle with the limited space, certainly don't mean to sound pessimistic as there are some very good qualities - just realistic

Thank you for your feedback. I am disappointed to hear the cottage didn't meet some of your specific needs. The dimensions of the cottage and access statement on the website outline its unique qualities as it is an 18th Century Grade II listed property.
Bakewell is an ancient market town and the parking permit system normally provides adequate parking within a reasonable distance, however Drop off/pick up is allowed outside the cottage. The cottage has officially been graded to accommodate 4 people.
It currently averages 8.8 out of 10 on Reevoo.
