“Excellent in every respect”
Reg and Gwen were wonderful, friendly helpful hosts who clearly love what they do and sharing their lovely home with guests. The bedroom was very clean, warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for a lovely stay as well as a splendid view. Very centrally located in Ambleside, an ideal centre for walking, and a great selection of restaurants, pubs and cafes. It's just around the corner from the bus station so you can park up, do a one way walk and get the bus back if you like (or need) to. Breakfast is ordered the night before and is delicious - especially the sausages! There's also a good choice of cereals, fruit, yogurts etc.
