Shakespeare's Stratford-Upon-Avon
Stratford-upon-Avon is a picturesque town beautifully situated on the river and is, of course, the birthplace of the world famous playwright, William Shakespeare.
Take time to explore the town centre with its great selection of shops, restaurants and tearooms. Make sure you stop off at some of the many attractions the town has to offer including:
- Shakespeare’s Birthplace – the timber-framed house where William Shakespeare was born in 1564 containing both original and replica artefacts
