Chester is an old Roman city with many 21st century attractions. Situated in a bend of the River Dee the walled City of Chester is a wonderful place to explore on foot. The old cobbled streets and unique medieval 'Rows' are a shopper's paradise of small speciality shops. But Chester also has two indoor shopping malls and nearby there is the famous Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village. At night, there is plenty to do in Chester; the City has a theatre, hosts the annual Chester Music Festival and many other events, has a wide range of pubs and restaurants and many night clubs. Just outside the city is one of Britain's largest zoos and the awesome Blue Planet Aquarium.
