    “We felt that we were in a cocoon.”

    A comfortable bed, good choice of food, well cooked and presented. Friendly and helpful advice mixed with good local knowledge the staff . Beautiful surroundings with good walks or to have the opportunity for a bit of pampering in the spa.

    On the A64 follow signs to York West, then follow the signs to Bishopthorpe, and Middlethorpe. Middlethorpe Hall is signposted on the right.

    By Public Transport:
    Bus number 11 (Indigo Line) runs every half an hour and stops right outside the Hotel. Taxis are also readily available for the 10 minute journey.
