Details

Within the stunning grounds of Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel are several delightful self-catering cottages which were converted from Barns and the Old Mill. The cottages lie in 44 acres of landscaped gardens and beautiful North Devon countryside. They are located within minutes of secluded coves and many fine sandy beaches, such as Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton, yet so accessible to the A361, too. They are also within easy reach of Ilfracombe, Exmoor and the famous North Devon coastal path.

Each Cottage is fully furnished to a good standard and offers a variety of sleeping arrangements to suit most of your needs (each cottage sleeping between 5 & 8 people). We provide everything you need for your self-catering holiday except towels. Pets are welcome in the Cottages but are excluded from the Hotel, other than guide dogs. Cottage residents are welcome to use the Hotel's indoor heated Swimming Pool, Sauna, Gym, Games Room, Tennis Court or just sit on the lawns and enjoy the peace and quiet that Trimstone has to offer. Guests staying in the cottages are also most welcome to use the Hotel Bar and Tyme Restaurant and enjoy special terms for pre-booked evening meals and breakfast

    “Peaceful, pleasent, well kept rooms, friendly staf”

    We had a lovely stay at trimstone manor. Peaceful location and lots to do nearby. Friendly staff, brilliant facilities and fantastic cream tea!! We stayed in Mill Apartment which was the perfect size for a couple, very clean and a lovely feel to the place.

    By Road:
    Come off the M5 at Junction 27, heading towards Barnstaple, passing through Tiverton.

    Drive North from Barnstaple towards Ilfracombe on the A361 for nine miles passing through Braunton and Knowle. After “Foxhunters” Garage, a quarter of a mile beyond you will see Hotel signs. Turn left into Trimstone. The Hotel is only 300 yards down the road on the left.
