Quiet but central location in the heart of Whitby, a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations, harbour, shops and restaurants, and a little further to the beach.

Located in the heart of Whitby, a picturesque traditional fishing port nestling at the mouth of the River Esk beneath The cliff top perch of St Mary's church and historic Whitby Abbey. Whitby has flourished in recent years as a holiday destination substantially because of its sensitive and selective limited development. The harbour area bustles with fishing and boat trips side by side with fishermen unloading the days catch. The steam bus, chugs its way round the town, whilst on some days the distinctive sound of the steam trains arriving or leaving the station reminds you of times past. Picturesque cobbled streets lined with individual quality shops, restaurants and quaint local pubs, meander to the famous 199 steps to the cliff tops, church and abbey.

Located on the Cleveland way and set within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Whitby is a great walking base. It attracts rail enthusiasts being near to and often an extension destination for the North Yorkshire Moors Steam rail events. A welcoming host to a range of musical festivals and events through the year, Whitby has many faces.

Explore the local area from our large, light and modern second floor apartment with secure underground parking and extensive balcony views incorporating sea, harbour, marina and abbey. It has been refurbished and decorated to a very high standard. Quietly located on the West side of Whitby, close to shops, cafes, restaurants and train and bus stations, a few minutes walk to the harbour, swing bridge and the beach.

Accommodation: Entrance into a hallway. From which there is access to; a large sitting room with dining area, balcony and extensive views, a modern fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table and ample storage, a large fully furnished bedroom with a double bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and wardrobe, and a cloakroom with a toilet, washbasin and a heated towel rail.

From the entrance hall there is a staircase to the landing which in turn leads to
a spacious double bedroom with large fitted wardrobe, en-suite shower room with shower, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail and second very large family bedroom with three single beds with bedside cabinet or table and wardrobe as well as a family bathroom with a bath, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.
Availability: all year, short breaks available outside school holidays.

    An excellent apartment. Very comfortable with plenty of space and everything you need, including underground parking. Good views of the abbey over thr rooftops.
    Great location for getting out on foot, within a couple of minutes walking distance to the train station and nearest pubs/restaurants.
    Not suitable for those with difficulty walking uphill/upstairs.
