Twenty Queen Street, a beautiful Georgian town house on the edge of the Lake District, located in the historic market town of Ulverston.

The town, with its cobbled streets and an interesting range of shops and boutiques is an ideal base for a Lakeland holiday. Lake Windermere is only a 15-minute drive away.
The house sleeps 5 guests, plus a guest bed and travel cot and has been luxuriously renovated with a contemporary style and modern touches whilst maintaining the charm of the 18thC. With a fantastic mix of classic and modern, the result is striking and exciting wherever you look. Great care has gone in to making this house have a comfortable home from home feel, from the welcome pack, toiletries, to the lovely fluffy robes. It has a few surprises with sauna and funky chill-out zone in the basement, cocktail and drinks cabinet (Honesty Bar system) in the sumptuous first floor lounge or the cosy ground floor Library and TV room. It also has a sunny conservatory off the kitchen so there is lots of space for a family to have a fun and relaxing time.
Nearby there are plenty of attractions with The Windermere Steamers and The Lakeside Aquarium, The South Lakes Animal Park and The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway.
Ulverston is a festival town and there is a very busy calendar throughour the year, the best ones being The Dickensian Christmas Market (normally last wk-end in Nov), St. Georges Day Celebrations, The Lantern Procession in September and the Carnival in July.
