Situated amidst the mature wooded landscape of Stock Park, next door but one to Grange Cottages, this cottage offers guests a peaceful woodland setting, benefits from direct access to lake Windermere, with free boat launching available. In addition there is shared use of lakeside picnic area and the adjoining woodlands, visited by a variety of wild animals including red squirrel and deer. Fishing, climbing, pony trekking and many other outdoor pursuits are available within easy motoring distance, so there is no excuse not to take advantage of this opportunity to really get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

    “Amazing place ”

    We loved the cottage. It was amazing to be just a few minutes walk from the most beautiful place we have ever seen.
    The area around the boat launch is perfect to enjoy a glass or two of wine and relax.
    It was so perfect I proposed to my partner. Luckily she accepted!

    Highly recommend and we are looking at returning next year
