Garths Farm,
LA10 5ED

A luxury 6-bedroom property positioned in a beautiful private setting in the Yorkshire Dale's National Park beneath the Howgill Fells and within easy reach of the Lake District. All six unique bedrooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms with freestanding baths, walk-in showers and complimentary Bath House products. The bedrooms subtly reflect the owners time spent in India and the Far East but with a nod to their Cumbrian surroundings, have pure wool Herdwick carpets, Wool Room bedding and unspoilt views. Three suites accommodate up to four people and two of the doubles can be configured as twin rooms. A generous afternoon tea is served on arrival, bed tea is brought to your room and breakfast is long and indulgent.

The property is on the Dales Way footpath and there are many other options for walking or cycling from the front door. A boot room provides plenty of space to dry wet boots and coats and to repair and store bicycles. The Malabar is part of the old farmstead of Garths with various outbuildings, and the farmhouse where the owners live, dating back to the 1500's.

    “We did really enjoy that.”

Everything was excellent indeed, the only two very small defects we found were the absence of a clear indication either on Google Maps or on the road on how to get to the place and the English breakfast that wasn't as excellent as all the rest.
