Rawcliffe House Farm is a self catering cottage situated in Stape, which is 6 miles north of Pickering in a beautiful, scenic and rural location within 42 acres of the North York Moors National Park.

Centrally located in the North York Moors allowing easy access to the coast, Whitby, Captain Cook country and the famous Whitby Abbey - 30 minutes away, over the beautiful moors road, sometimes featured in 'Heartbeat'. Scarborough and Robin Hoods Bay a pleasant drive away, Castle Howard, Goathland (Aidensfield on Heartbeat), Eden Camp, the market towns of Malton and Helmsley, and the historic city of York (1 hour).

Dalby forest features walks, cycle trails, play areas, lake and views, being only a short distance away, although you can walk and cycle from your door. Plenty of National Trust and English Heritage sites are around the area. We are 10 minutes from the market town of Pickering, featuring the terminus for the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. Nearby there are the picture postcard villages of Thornton-le-Dale and Hutton-Le-Hole, where the Ryedale Folk Museum is found. Friendly local pubs, restaurants and cottage tearooms serving locally sourced produce and real Yorkshire Ale are nearby.
