You've searched for the dates and place you want to visit but how do you choose from the many attractive properties with availability? The national grading system awards stars to indicate the overall quality of the experience. You can use the 'Order by' option to show the accommodation with the most stars first.
There are also national gradings for welcoming walkers, cyclists, families and pets. Special gold, silver and rose awards are given to reflect exceptional quality. Accessibilty gradings allow you to choose accommodation which meets particular mobility, visual or hearing needs.
In addition to the national schemes, there are a range of other awards covering everything from green tourism to a great British breakfast. Clicking on the symbols for each property will show what each award means.
We hope you have a great trip!

The Tack Room and The Coach House date from around 1734 and were originally the stable block to the main house (hence their names). They are grade II listed, built from the same local stone as the house and retain some original oak beams. Both cottages are located on the Pickering to Whitby road (A169), just a couple of hundred yards from Pickering town centre with its shops, restaurants and pubs.We are within easy walking distance of Pickering's magnificent Parish Church with its unique collection of medieval frescoes, Pickering Castle, the Beck Isle Museum of Rural Life and the North York Moors Steam Railway station.
What else is there on offer? Well it's true to say there are activities for all tastes and age groups right on our doorstep from moorland and forest walks, bike trails for all abilities from beginner to expert in nearby Dalby Forest, museums, historic ruins, stately homes & gardens, theme parks, the Yorkshire coast ….. the list goes on!
