Details

Beckside Cottage is a superb, self-catering dog friendly semi-detached cottage. Nestling in the pretty village of Caldbeck located to the peaceful Northern edge of the Lake District National Park.

This cottage has original features, including a stained glass entrance door depicting a Swaledale sheep, oak beams, sash windows and a cosy wood burning stove. Comfortably appointed to provide charming and spacious accommodation, this holiday home is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing break for a couple, family or friends. The sitting room is a cosy place to snuggle down in front of the wood burning stove at the end of the day. The charming bedrooms are restful for a great night's sleep. Outside this cottage is a patio with furniture.

Located in the midst of the beautiful Northern Fells, there are plenty of walks that can be enjoyed from the doorstep. Wander around the village to feed the ducks and to see sheep grazing along the road sides. The popular Lake District market town of Keswick is only 30 minutes' drive away and boasts many excellent individual shops and cafes to enjoy, all nestling on the shores of Derwentwater. Ginger Cottages hopes that you will enjoy this Lakeland cottage all year round.
