Johnby Hall, a Tudor manor house built onto a 14thC pele tower, situated in the tranquil heart of rural Cumbria, on the north-east edge of the Lake District National Park.
The house was bought by the 10th Duke of Norfolk in 1783 and has remained in the Howard family ever since. It is now home to Henry and Anna Howard and their young family.

The Studio forms part of a 17/18thC cottage adjacent to the main house. This delightful conversion is split over two levels with a sitting room area on the ground floor and gallery bedroom on the upper floor. The bathroom is accessible up three steps from the sitting room. This suite contains a king-size bed and single bed in the bedroom and sofa bed in in the sitting room. It can be let as a double, twin, or family room for up to two adults and two children

The Kelly suite is situated on the first floor of a 17thC wing of the main house with its own garden entrance. The suite contains a spacious bedroom, cosy sitting room and bathroom. The bedroom contains one king-size bed and one single bed and is available as either a double or twin room.

Whether you want to stay a week and explore the sights of Cumbria, or are just spending a night on your way to or from Scotland, Henry and Anna are delighted to welcome you into their home for bed and breakfast.
