The Dial House was built in the 1920s in the style of timber framed Tudor house. Conversion to a guest house has been sympathetic, retaining much of the original feel. Eight spacious ensuite rooms that have access to the internet are furnished individually in a style appropriate for the setting. Most rooms benefit from a view over the large garden. The Dial House is located witin as easy walking distance to colleges, and a 7 minute walk to Hospitals and to Oxford Brookes University. There are frequent bus services to the city centre from the doorstep of the House. A coach stop to London, or airports, is within 5 minutes walking distance from the House. Full english breakfast is served with plenty of choice. Other styles of breakfast are also available upon request. There are plenty of cafes, shops, bars and different styles of restaurants around the House within a 2 to 5 minutes walking distance. The Dial house is an excellent location to base your stay.
Children welcome from any age.

“The location suited our purpose.”
The proximity of the Manor House hospital determined our choice of accommodation. There were plenty of places nearby for getting an evening meal.
The time allocated for breakfast was quite limited which made finding somewhere to sit not easy.
