Charming cottage in the historic village of Bonsall on the edge of the Peak District. Many original features and a great base for exploring the stunning surrounding areas.
Enjoy walks from the door to attractions e.g The Heights of Abraham overlooking Matlock Bath with panoramic views to the River Derwent.
Take guided tours to nearby underground caverns; There is Gulliver's for younger children in Matlock Bath and a wealth of activities in the area including walking, fishing, climbing, cycling, riding, and sailing.
Visit Chatsworth and Haddon Hall-both sets for many films and TV.
Two pubs in the village have real fires and there is a very nice tearoom.

There is off road parking for up to four cars and a gas BBQ and picnic table in the garden.

    “Excellent”

    Spotlessly clean & well maintained cottage with all the home comforts provided.
    We were particularly pleased with the never ending supply of hot water for the showers and my teenage children were delighted with the speed of the broad band connection...better than at home !!!

    From Matlock Bath take the A6 south to Cromford. At the traffic lights, turn right onto the A5012 then take the first right onto Water Lane. After 0.9 miles, turn right at Via Gellia Mills to Bonsall. Continue through the vilage to the cross and turn right onto Church Street. The cottage is on the left at the end of Ember Lane opposite the church.
