Sunny View is situated in Forge, a peaceful hamlet just 1 mile south of Machynlleth. It has stunning views across to Cader Idris in Southern Snowdonia.

The property provides comfortable and modern accommodation. Both en-suite rooms have twin beds and are equipped with:

·19” flat screen television incorporating a dvd/cd player.

· Hairdryer.

· Tea and coffee making facilities.

The dining room includes a lounge area with TV for guests to use. There is a pleasant garden which guests are welcome to enjoy.

Hosts Jayne and Steve are both vegetarian so can offer vegetarian as well as traditional breakfasts, using many local ingredients.

Sunny View is well placed for cyclists as all three of the Mach trails pass through the village. Also, Forge is ideally situated midway between Coed y Brenin and Nant yr Arian, both with extensive trail networks. .

Walkers are welcome, with a number of walks starting locally as well as Glyndwr’s Way passing very close to Sunny View.

A shed is available for safe storage of cyles or for any essential repairs, and for storing or drying walking gear.

Motorcyclists are also welcome as Jayne and Steve are keen bikers.

The Centre for Alternative Technology is only 3 miles away, the Tal y Llyn and Corris railways and the RSPB nature reserves are all close by.

Whatever the reason for your visit, a warm welcome awaits you at Sunny View.

    “Excellent”

We had a lovely stay. Everything was spotless, and there was a beautiful view. Our hosts were welcoming and offered a level of service far above the standard - no where else has ever offered to set a table if we wanted to bring our fish and chips back! Breakfast was a feast of delights, especially for a vegetarian and the bacon and sausage etc were all of high quality. We loved the location which is peaceful but teeming with birdlife as the garden birds are as well catered for as the guests - we we even saw a woodpecker! Thank you

Thank you, Margaret, for the lovely review. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and if you come again, we'll try and arrange for the woodpecker to make a return visit!
