Henllys Lodge is a detached house two miles from Llandovery, a market town with all amenities. It has been rebuilt and furnished to a high standard. It has four bedrooms: three double rooms, two of which have ensuite wetrooms, and a 4th room with full-sized single bunk beds. There is a separate bathroom for the two bedrooms with bath and overhead shower.
The ground floor is open plan. There is a matted lobby entrance where coats and boots can be left. The large kitchen/dining room has all modern energy efficient appliances, such as Rangemaster cooker with two ovens, Miele fridge-freezer, Miele dishwasher, M&S microwave, John Lewis washing machine and condenser drier, and all the cooking equipment and utensils you will need. There is a downstairs WC. The living room has in its centre a double-sided wood-burning stove which is cosy and comfortable in the colder months. There is a television which has freeview channels, a DVD player with a selection of DVD's, a CD player with I-pod dock, table football, a large selection of games and puzzles, books including guides of the area and daylight lamps for reading. There is wifi internet access in the property.
The kitchen opens out onto a slate patio area with garden furniture and barbecue. There are flower beds planted with native plants flowering at different times of the year and a lawn leading down to a pond, teeming with wildlife including fish, frogs, newts, water lilies, etc. Fill up the bird feeder to watch all sorts of birds, including nuthatches and woodpeckers. Red kites and buzzards soar overhead.
There is parking for 3+ cars and a locked shed to accommodate bicycles.
On arrival there is a meet and greet service and awaiting you will be a Welcome basket of organic and/or local foods.

Access to the property is via steps or stoned pathway. There is a downstairs WC. There are two steps from the front door into the property and two steps also from the back door to the patio area. The downstairs rooms are open-plan and it is easy to manoeuvre around furniture and furnishings for those with mobility difficulties or visual impairment. There is a level path around the property. The garden has a lawn which slopes gently downwards. There is a pond at the bottom of the garden, where the edges are not delineated, so care would need to be taken by those with limited mobility or visual impairment. People with restricted mobility, who can manage stairs, will find all rooms accessible. Wheelchair users will find the ground floor accessible, but not the first floor. There should be no difficulties for people with hearing impairment.
