Details

It comprises separate lounge, dining-room, kitchen, conservatory, utility room (washing machine and tumble dryer provided),1 double, 1 twin and one single bedroom, newly refurbished bathroom with bath and integral shower.

Outside there are gardens to the front and rear. The rear garden, given over to a lawn, shrubbery and flower beds, is fully enclosed and therefore safe for young children. Garden furniture (tables, chairs and loungers) is provided. The property is fully gas central heated and has recently been double-glazed throughout.

The property is within 5 minutes walk of Helmsley town centre, and within the National Park. Notwithstanding the proximity to the town, the location is very quiet and is also within 5 minutes walk of open countryside within the National Park. On-street parking is easily accessible.

Helmsley is a small, bustling market town situated on the boundary of the North York Moors National Park. In and around the town square area is an impressive array of shops, tea-rooms, restaurants, hotels (one with a leisure spa) and licensed premises. Within the town there is also a castle (English Heritage), a recently restored walled garden, a heated outdoor swimming pool and just outside is situated Duncombe Park, the ancestral home of the Feversham family.

Apart from the magnificent countryside of the National Park, other attractions such as Riveaux Abbey (English Heritage), Nunnington Hall (National Trust), steam railway at Pickering, Flamingo Land and Castle Howard are close y. Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay on the Yorkshire coast are a short drive away.

Change over day is normally Saturday although short breaks are available at less busy periods. The property is available for occupation from 3pm on the day of arrival and you are asked to vacate by 11 am to enable cleaning to take place. Bed linen and towels are provided throughout. In the event of late arrival, keys are available for collection locally until 21.00.
