Set in Cragg Vale, an area of outstanding natural beauty near Hebden Bridge, our old stone building which previously housed tractors and forestry equipment, has been transformed into three quality holiday cottages. The elevated position in a steep-sided wooded valley affords the cottages with fabulous moor and woodland views. Although ""Cragg"" as it is known locally, is secluded and peaceful, it is also a central location for visiting Yorkshire and Lancashire with road and direct rail links to Leeds and Manchester nearby. 300yds from the Calderdale Way and with numerous local walks, the cottages are ideal for people looking to explore the local countryside. With direct access onto the longest continuous incline in England, cyclists can relish the challenge of riding this difficult route up onto the heather clad moors. Mountain bikers have their own set of demanding routes and this area is considered ""A Nexus for mountain bikers"" (Everyday Cycling Magazine).The local moorland golf course offers some majestic views. The local bus ""The Cragg Flyer"" stops just outside the cottages for journeys to Mytholmroyd (2miles), Hebden Bridge (4miles) or just down the road to a true local pub 'The Robin Hood'. The Hinchliffe Arms country restaurant and bar is also within walking distance.
The nearby town of Hebden bridge has been described as ""4th funkiest town in the world"" and ""most individual least cloned shopping in Britain"" so it's got to be worth a look. If you do feel like venturing out of the Pennine centre the Bronte village of Haworth, Skipton, Bradford, Leeds, York and Manchester are all within easy reach.
Our cottages are set in their own walled and gated garden with ample level, floodlit parking. The light and spacious cottages open onto an all day sunny patio from where you can enjoy the views. Downstairs, the open plan accommodation provides a comfortable lounge, dining area and modern fitted kitchen. Furnished to a high standard with co-ordinating soft furnishings, the lounge has a leather suite, Wi-Fi internet, TV/ DVD, CD/iPod music system books and games. The kitchen is fully fitted with ceramic hob, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and ample cupboard and storage space. An open staircase leads to the two tastefully decorated bedrooms and bathroom. Fully fitted and tiled bathroom with P shaped bath housing a shower unit at one end, fluffy towels and toiletries. Double bedroom with divan bed, dressing table, mirror and fitted wardrobes. Twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes. Top quality beds with mattress toppers and luxury linen ensure a good night’s sleep. Large velux windows in both bedrooms. Hairdryer also provided.
Outside there is a wet/dry room with secure storage. Hot and cold water, tumble dryer and hose pipe.
Dogs are welcome to stay at all three of our cottages. All services, linen and towels are included in the hire charge. Fresh flowers and a welcome pack provided. High chair and travel cot available on request.

“Great cottage with lovely views.”
Lovely place to stay with great views. Everything in the cottage we needed with a few extras too. Was a bit worried on how close we were to the road but traffic noise wasn't a problem.
