You've searched for the dates and place you want to visit but how do you choose from the many attractive properties with availability? The national grading system awards stars to indicate the overall quality of the experience. You can use the 'Order by' option to show the accommodation with the most stars first.
There are also national gradings for welcoming walkers, cyclists, families and pets. Special gold, silver and rose awards are given to reflect exceptional quality. Accessibilty gradings allow you to choose accommodation which meets particular mobility, visual or hearing needs.
In addition to the national schemes, there are a range of other awards covering everything from green tourism to a great British breakfast. Clicking on the symbols for each property will show what each award means.
We hope you have a great trip!

Gaudy House Farm provides self catering accommodation close to Gayle and Hawes. It is set in 25 acres of magnificent upland farmland, right by the Pennine Way high above Hawes. It is well positioned for taking day trips to other parts of the Dales, the Yorkshire Moors and the Lake District.
The accommodation is in three self contained units in converted barns. It is comfortable, cosy and well equipped with central heating and open fires. The Duerley barn has lower and upper levels, each with 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4. Widdale is slightly larger, with a third bedroom, and sleeps 5. We are well suited for larger parties who want to combine and book more than one let.
Hawes itself has lots of character and is the highest market town in England. It has a variety of local shops, pubs and eating places. Points of interest include a rope maker, the famous Wensleydale cheese factory and an excellent Dales Museum.
Children welcome from any age.
