Details

Welcome to Bwthyn Haf, or “summer cottage” as we’d say in Welsh. A Grade 2 listed, traditional Fisherman’s Cottage within the walls of the medieval town of Conwy. We are fully re-furbished, accommodating up to 4 adults and a baby, with one double and one twin bedroom with adult sized bunk beds. The price includes bedding, towels, gas, electricity and wi-fi – there are no hidden extras. We also provide a selection of locally produced groceries and toiletries.

There is on-street parking outside the cottage, and further car parks a short distance away.

And it’s Bwthyn Haf because it’s always summer time in Conwy, and the living is easy. Whether it’s July or December we can have clear blue skies and bright sunshine, perfect for relaxing in our courtyard garden before taking a stroll down to the quay to watch the boats, have an ice cream and buy some freshly caught fish to cook later. And in July and December we can also have continual rain, hail and gales, which provide a perfect excuse for snuggling down in front of the fire in our cosy sitting room with a good book, a favourite DVD or a board game, then dashing down to the Quay for a pint of real ale or cup of freshly brewed coffee, whilst looking out at the boats as they bob around in the water. The truth is, in Conwy we can have the weather of all four seasons in the space of a day and Bwthyn Haf is the perfect place to enjoy it.
