Enjoy the best of both worlds! Located in a green wooded valley but still only ½ a mile from the beach. Y Lloft is a single storey 2 bedroom property with a coastal cottage feel, located on a quiet country lane on the outskirts of the charming seaside village of Tresaith. Ideally situated for some of the most picturesque and idyllic beaches that West Wales has to offer, including the Blue Flag beaches of Tresaith, Aberporth and Llangrannog and the more rural Green Coast awarded Penbryn, Mwnt and Cwtydu. Access to the Ceredigion Coastal path is a 5 minute walk, with The Ship Inn and Tresaith beach a half mile stroll down the hill. The market town of Cardigan is approximately a 10 minute drive away with a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. However there are a number of convenience stores and farm shops within a couple of miles of the house.
Y Lloft can accommodate 3 adults plus an additional pull out bed available on request. The beautifully presented master bedroom offers a luxurious king size bed, large fitted wardrobes, dressing table and wall mounted LED TV/DVD. The room is spacious enough to accommodate a cot if required and offers pleasant woodland views from one of the two windows.
The smaller bedroom contains a comfortable 3 foot single bed, with an additional 2’6 guest bed available. The room is also equipped with a large chest of drawers and a built in cupboard with half height hanging space.
Both bedrooms benefit from blackout blinds and will be made up with crisp white Egyptian cotton linen.
The family bathroom is located next to both bedrooms and contains a double-ended bath with hand-held shower attachment. In addition there is a large walk in shower with fixed rain-shower head as well as additional adjustable head. Within the bathroom there is also a WC and vanity unit with illuminated mirror and shaving point.
There is a very well equipped kitchen with range cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, Smeg dishwasher and microwave. This leads through to the beautifully presented L shaped open plan lounge and dining area. The light and spacious living area enjoys lovely views of the green valley as well as distant sea views of Cardigan Bay and is furnished in a modern style with a 2 seater leather sofa as well as an oversized cosy 3 seater fabric one. It is an ideal space to relax with Samsung LED TV and Blu-Ray player and Sony stereo system with iPod dock and is equipped with a selection of books, DVD’s and board games. The dining end of the room has an extendable oak table with 4 chairs and again enjoys some lovely views.
Directly outside the front door there is ample parking for 2 cars as well as a seating area which benefits from morning sun. For evening sun there is a small decked area to the rear of the property, however this is accessed via a steep slope. Guests may also use an additional storage area at the rear of the property that contains a selection of children’s beach equipment and can be used for bike storage, but again this is accessed via a steep slope.
There is full gas central heating throughout the property, powered by a combi boiler, giving instant hot water. The gas charge is included in the rental along with electricity, towels and linen but please bring your own beach towels. One well behaved pet is welcome but should not be allowed into the bedrooms. Free WIFI is also included for guests use. No smoking is allowed inside property.
