Details

Glandwr Country House is a luxury holiday rental, set in the seaside village of Tresaith on the heritage coastline of Cardigan Bay, West Wales.

With over 5 acres of its own grounds and woodland, Glandwr, a gorgeous Georgian Grade 11 listed building, sleeps 12 guests (including children), with 6 large bedrooms, 5 designer bathrooms and a thirty-foot ‘orangery’ style kitchen/diner. This 5 star accommodation can also accept 2 small, well-behaved family pets.

The blue flag beach, popular bistro pub and Wales coastal path can be found a few metres from the end of Glandwr’s drive. Local activites include cycling, watersports, golf, horse-riding, fishing and bird-watching.

This charming, detached, Grade II listed Georgian country house has been sympathetically restored, making it a perfect holiday base for families or groups looking to explore the dramatic coastline of Ceredigion and the mountains of mid-Wales. Glandwr Country House has been tastefully decorated throughout, boasting lots of character, period furnishings and original flooring.

Welcoming touches have been added, such as traditional wood-burning stoves for those cosy nights in. Bedrooms are spacious and have been decorated with matching themes, some with designer en-suites. One of the master bedrooms features a super king, four-poster bed.

Families and friends can be entertained in the games room with a pool table, table football, TV/wii, cards and board games - great distraction for indoor days!

Outside, guests can sit, relax and unwind after a busy day's exploration in the property's gardens and woodland with sea views.

Downstairs:
Large living room with wood-burning stove, wooden floor. Sitting room with wood-burning stove. Large well-equipped kitchen/dining room with French doors and parquet flooring. Games room. Shower room with toilet.

Upstairs:
Master bedroom with 6ft four-poster bed, TV and en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower.
Two further double bedrooms with sea views; one with an en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.
Further double bedroom. Two twin bedrooms.

    “Excellent”

We all had a fantastic time at Glandwr Country House. Excellent location near sandy beaches, pubs, farm shops & costal walks. All of us would definitely stay here again.

At the Gogerddan junction in Tanygroes, follow the signposted road B4333 to Aberporth. On the outskirts of Aberporth bear right along Ffordd Tresaith. When you arrive at Tresaith, Glandwr's driveway entrance is on the right hand side - more or less diagonally opposite to the bus stop - just before a hairpin bend at the junction for the beach and Llangrannog.
