Built in a peaceful, unrivalled seafront position on the Eastern Esplanade (part of the scenic Viking Coastal Trail) overlooking a sandy bay and the Channel, this grand property has large well-appintted rooms with modern facilities. Access to the promenade and beach directly opposite. It is five minutes stroll to the town amentities, shops, restaurants, pier and Viking Bay. Bleak House, once home to Charles Dickens, is just 300 metres. Unrestricted parking on the Esplanade and on site.

Bedrooms are spacious, bright and comfortable with quality furnishings; controllable lighting, king-size beds, armchairs, tea/coffee making facilities, colour televisions with Freeview and radio, bedside clocks. Most have a view of the sea. First floor rooms have doors to the balcony with tables and chairs. Complimentary tea/coffee and toiletries supplied. All bedrooms have modern fully tiled en-suite facilities with thermostatic showers except the single which has a private bathroom. Family rooms are available for twin or double occupancy. Breakfast is served in the Dining Room from 8am, or earlier by arrangements. The menu includes a buffet of juices, fruits and cerals followed by an A La Carte selection of traditional English fare including organic, vegetarian and vegan options; toast and preserves, teas and coffees. Child minimum age 6yrs. The hotel has a no-smoking policy.

    By Road: from London take the A2 or from the M25 pick up the A2 at junction 2. Join the A2 then M2 heading east. At junction 7 join the A299 (Thanet Way) heading to Ramsgate. This becomes the A253.
    Turn left onto the A256, then right onto the A255 which takes you into Broadstairs.
    When you have reached the train station, on the left (over-head bridge), continue ahead down the High Street (over the raised pedestrian section) through the shopping area and at the bottom bear left (over the raised pedestrian section) into Albion Street. At bottom of Albion Street –narrow bend- continue (left) past the Car Park and turn right after Holy Trinity church into Rectory Road leading onto Eastern Esplanade.

    By Rail: Regular fast services from London St Pancras International (Eurostar) Railway Station via Ashford and Canterbury West. Journey time approximately 1hour 20 minutes.
    From London Victoria Railway Station there are departures about every half hour with a journey time of approximately 1 hour 55 minutes.

    By Coach: National Express coaches run regular services to Broadstairs (Ramsgate coach) from London Victoria Coach Station. The coach stops opposite Piermont Hall (the Broadstairs Town Council) at the top of Broadstairs High Street.
