Set up a quiet farm track amidst the gently rolling hills high above Ashbourne, these 1700's brick and tile barn conversions offer safe and tranquil accomodation in which to relax and re-charge your batteries.

Enjoying fine views over Thorpe Cloud and Dovedale in the distance these self catering cottages are warm and cosy with a large fully enclosed garden equipped with tables, chairs and a garden swing. Visitors are welcome to explore our 9 acres of fields which are home to three friendly ponies and can enjoy the many footpaths in this area, one of which runs through the farmyard.

Children of any age are most welcome and our large trampoline is usually very popular with our younger visitors. pets of any kind are welcomed too, although if you wish to bring more than 2 we ask that you contact us first.

Ample parking next to the cottages is available and should you wish not to drive, the 'Shire Horse Public House' is only 300 yards away and offers delicious restaurant and bar meals.

Our cottages offer very easy access into Ashbourne and are only twenty minutes drive away from Alton Towers. Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth are all within an hours drive.

a) When approaching from the North: From Ashbourne take the A515 signposted for Litchfield. After approx 1 1/2 miles at the top of a steep hill take a left turn signposted Edlaston and Wyaston.

b) Follow the lane past The Old School House on the left. Turn right before the Coach House and follow the limestone track, keeping left for- about 100 yards and past the farmhouse on the right, the cottages are behind the farmhouse.

When approaching from the south take the A 515 towards Ashbourne. After approx 10 minutes you will see Darley Moor Motorcycle track entrance on your right. Take the next right hand turn signposted Edlaston and Wyaston and follow directions given above from b).
