The Brathay Hall Estate, set in 360 acres of mature woodland and rolling pasture, at the head of Lake Windermere, offers accommodation suitable for all the family.
Guests on the stunning Estate will experience the wonderful views that have inspired artists and poets alike for centuries. Wordsworth, Coleridge and Constable have all been notable visitors to the Hall and its impressive gardens.
Each room enjoys en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and plasma screen television with access to Freeview channels. For those on a budget we also have male and female dormitory accommodation within the Hall.
Guests can simply relax and unwind in the beautiful surroundings of the Brathay Hall Estate; whilst the more adventurous can enjoy the hills and fells by taking advantage of one of our recommended local walks, suitable for all levels of experience.
Brathay Hall is located just minutes away from the beautiful Lakeland town of Ambleside where guests can experience a selection of restaurants and traditional public houses. The town also boasts its own museum and well-appointed cinema.
This is your chance to live like the Lord of the Manor in the Lakes! Stroll around the estate, gaze out across a spectacular Lakeland garden, with glorious views down to the slate coloured stillness of the waters of Windermere.
